Sooo I finally felt crazy enough to upload all my old writing onto my blog. I held off on it for a long time because I guess a lot of it is depressing? If you're wanting to check it out. It's linked inside my side projects.

I'm trying to get back into a writing mood, but lately I been feeling kind of bleh. Plus I can't figure out how to make spaces appear double in between each of my words. I thought it would make it easier to read, but this html stuff is pretty annoying. I'm going to try to find another solution and an editor. If that doesn't work out well... I don't know then, lol. I'll be rolling into the deep? This song is awesome.. XD

Guess what guys! My sims from the sims4 had been featured on Kotaku. I actually didn't know until today, lol. I created Michonne and Pierce around when the demo had first came out. I don't know why they picked the sad picture of Pierce, well might be because I uploaded it to facebook awhile back. Anyway here's the link!

Anyway just wanted to share it, lmao.

So speaking of music, lol. I came up with an idea of songs that I think could represent my characters personality or experience.

This is what I've come up with so far.

First book: Kiss from a Rose - Seal
Second book: Uninvited - Alanis Morissette

Leon

Rufus Wainwright - Hallelujah

Fenix

First Book: The Gambler - Kenny Rogers
Second Book: Grounds for Divorce - Elbow

Fauna

Fix Me - 10 Years

Yeldir

Another Stranger Me - Blind Guardian

Lyrist

Woodkid - Iron

Sinner

Renegade - Styx

John Damas

Sleepwalking - The Chain Gang of 1974

Adam Charlot

Thrown Away - Stealing Eden

So let me know whatcha think or if you got any idea's of your own. :)

11/20/2014

Of course again I have forgotten about the existence of this blog. Well not much is going on other than the usual.

However I have actually discovered something regarding my writing. For awhile I have been struggling to create a story revolving Damas history on how he became the exchanger etc. I have a general idea how I'm going to make it, but its actually hard to lay out all the events I want to take place in words. Sort of funny considering the way I write comes across as very simple after I've gone over so many different directions on how to express or show details.

Blah I started rambling.. anyway I realize that every section in my book has been driven by music I've listened to. Today I heard this love song and got myself actually unstuck. Although a love song has nothing to do with what is being written. I just thought I would share that, lol. ✍(◔◡◔)

Murdered: Soul Suspect

My Review:

The Good:

The story in the game is compelling. Playing as the ghost of a detective who is surprisingly cool. (I really liked him a lot, lol.) - trying to solve your own murder is an awesome concept!

You learn about Ronan life - who he once was, and who he has now become as a cop.

The graphics are okay - they aren't exactly next gen or even last gen. The controls are alright, with the exception of it not telling you how to jump as a cat. I spent a while figuring out it took two trigger buttons, lol.

The game is very much focused on investigation.

The Bad:

There's mechanics such as hide and go seek, which seriously pull you out of the mindset of being a detective.

The open world is very small and restrictive. In saying so, it kind of defeats the purpose of being a ghost. This goes the same for your powers. Your ghost powers are only multiple choice. You can either influence, read mind, listen, or peek. Some are required to push along a questline, but they don't really have much of an impact on the narrative.

The gameplay isn't interesting except for the occasional combat sequences.

The game is also glitchy, where I actually couldn't finish any of the side cases except for one. Most the cases don't require you to retrieve all the evidence. You just need the main ones.  And if those items are glitch - you're not finishing it, lol. I think what causes the glitch is when you reveal hidden items, they glitch through the items you're suppose to examine. So my advice is to resist the urge of collecting items in that area until the case is complete.

Overall: 6/10

Honestly the concept of the game was interesting, but it wasn't executed very well.

First Post!

Hey everybody. I have been getting some requests to start my own personal blog outside of Dark Guardian Blazerine. I'm not exactly sure what to post on here about myself, but... I would like to mention somebody I came across on Twitch.tv. A quadriplegic gamer who goes by the name of NoHandsKen. He's probably the nicest gamer on Twitch I have ever met. He actually plays games with his viewers. I got a chance to play Heroes of the Storm with him. It was pretty fun ;D
